Job summary

Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a full-time role in our Ambulatory Surgery Center team. You will scrub and circulate during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, supporting the operating room and care teams.

Minimum 2-3 years Cath lab or surgical experience is required; an associate degree is preferred. BLS & ACLS are required, RT certification preferred with RCIS/RCVT accepted in lieu of RT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of Cath lab or surgical experience.
• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• RT Certification preferred; RCIS or RCVT may be accepted in lieu of RT.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and supplies to perform procedures according to the physician’s documented routine.
• Prepare the operating field for procedures and assist the physician and surgical team.
• Scrub and circulate during procedures and support pre-op and PACU areas.
• Assist RN staff in pre-op and PACU areas and maintain instruments and equipment.
