Job summary

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services under radiologist supervision. This role offers a variable schedule including days, nights, and weekends as needed, with compensation between $28 and $32 per hour, based on experience.

You will maintain imaging quality and safety, supervise students and new technologists, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (or eligibility to obtain certification within six months).
• Knowledge of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, image quality standards, and radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs through accurate patient positioning and imaging parameter selection.
• Maintain examination room readiness by preparing imaging equipment and supplies.
• Supervise and train radiology students and new technologists.
• Promote patient safety and regulatory compliance by monitoring equipment performance and reporting concerns.
• Partner with radiologists and ordering providers to optimize imaging studies and patient care.
• Assist in documenting and communicating critical imaging findings for timely intervention.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs through accurate patient positioning, immobilization techniques, and imaging parameter selection, ensuring diagnostic accuracy and reducing the need for repeat exams.
• Maintain examination room readiness by preparing imaging equipment, supplies, and materials to support efficient patient flow and timely care delivery.
• Supervise and train radiology students and newly hired technologists, contributing to clinical competency, adherence to imaging standards, and workforce development.
• Promote patient safety and regulatory compliance by monitoring equipment performance, identifying concerns, and reporting unusual occurrences promptly.
• Partner with radiologists and ordering providers to optimize imaging studies, improve diagnostic outcomes, and support effective patient treatment plans.
• Assist in documenting and communicating critical imaging findings to facilitate timely clinical intervention and care coordination.
