Job summary

CRH Healthcare, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality x-ray services and assist clinicians in imaging and patient care.

You will perform CLIA-waived tests, operate imaging equipment safely, document in EMR, and support registration and follow-up activities. Flexible schedules and a strong clinical support team are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current State RT license.
• Ability to read/write medical terminology.
• CPR certification required.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
• Escort/transport patients as needed.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.
• Type at least 25 wpm with high accuracy (96%).
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical intake and document in EMR.
• Explain procedures and prepare exam room.
• Assist physicians with procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic tests (eye exams, EKG, audiogram, spirometry) and basic nursing tasks.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests and process specimens.
• Acquire digital x-rays with proper positioning and shielding.
• Document services, results and supplies used in charts.
• Coordinate callbacks, referrals, and follow-ups.

Job description

The Radiologic Technologist provides radiographic and other diagnostic imaging and assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients. Employees in this role will provide x-ray services to patients and assist clinical staff with other needs. The role is best suited for someone with a high level of attention to detail, courteous demeanor, and strong communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform clinical intake including but not limited to obtaining patient’s medical history, current medications & chief complaint, obtaining vital signs, and record information within the electronic medical record.
• Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination.
• Assist physicians with procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, electrocardiographs (EKG), audiogram, spirometry testing, and basic nursing functions.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, collect labels, and process specimens for send-out.
• Perform digital x-rays with proper positioning, shielding, and settings to produce quality images in a compliant, safe manner.
• Document within the medical chart to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used.
• Perform patient callbacks, arrange referrals and testing, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Perform quality checks on medical equipment as directed/needed.
• Assist registration staff and perform additional clerical duties as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma
• Musthave current State RT license
• Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology
• CPR certification
• Ability to work12-hour shiftsand weekend hours as needed
• Ability to escort or transport a patient by wheelchair or stretcher when appropriate
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Types 25 words per minute with 96% accuracy
• Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills
