Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Norman, Oklahoma to assess patient conditions and perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
The candidate must complete an accredited program in radiologic technology and obtain licensure within a year. Experience is preferred but not mandatory. This is a regular full-time position with variable work shifts.
Assess patient condition. Performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assists physicians with procedures.
Assists in maintaining patient and room workflow. Participates in quality management activities.
Education: Completion of an accredited two-year or four-year program in radiologic technology, accredited by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Experience: Experience is preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology registered or attainment of registration within one year of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re‑training mandatory at orientation before providing patient care, must be maintained throughout. Mandatory I.V. certification before or during new hire orientation.
