Qualifications

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist performs and obtains high quality radiographs on all patients; recognizes the need for and utilizes sage techniques such as shielding, collimation, and applying principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to the patient, self, and others. Transports patients to and from X-ray rooms as required; other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• New York state license as an Radiology Technologist and ARRT registered
• One year of experience as an Radiology / X-Ray Technologist preferred
