Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Lexington, KY. All shifts available for full-time or part-time positions, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

The Radiology team provides high-quality imaging and patient-centered care using advanced technologies. Candidates must complete an accredited radiologic technology program, hold ARRT, Kentucky state license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT Registry within 90 days of hire.
• Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor compliant with medical ethics.
• Recognizes various patient conditions to provide appropriate patient care for successful exam completion.

Job Description

Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.

Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
• Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry within 90 days of hire
• Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
• Current BLS Certification
