Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, IL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under physician orders. You will ensure high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort for all ages.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating equipment, documenting procedures, and supporting departmental operations. Credentialing in CT and Mammography is preferred; on-site role with a part-time Sunday night shift and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certified and licensed by IEMA
• Experience in radiography preferred; CT/Mammography registry ideal

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Provide patient and family education about imaging procedures.
• Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients and staff.
• Operate portable radiography equipment safely and effectively.

NATURE OF WORKThe Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role prepares and positions patients, operates imaging equipment safely, ensures high‑quality imaging, and supports patient care across all age groups.
