UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform routine radiology procedures and assist radiologists in complex examinations while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
Responsibilities include preparing patients, verifying orders, processing images in RIS/PACS, and maintaining equipment. Requires ARRT or registry-eligible with BLS and an Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences.

Summary:
Conducts routine procedures and tests using radiology equipment to acquire patient diagnostic data. Prepares for and assists the radiologist in completion of intricate radiographic procedures including preparation and administration of contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Performs patient assessments and provides patient care. Evaluates the appropriateness of examination and assesses the quality of radiographic images.
Hours: Friday 8a-6p; Saturday 12p-5p; Sunday 12p-5p
