Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will operate imaging equipment, document procedures accurately, and communicate clearly with patients and healthcare teams.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, ARRT registry or registry-eligible with plan to register within 6 months, and BLS within 30 days.

The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging and accurate documentation standards. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.

Experience: no experience required

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry or registry eligible. Achieved ARRT registry within 6 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
