Job summary

Southeast Orthopedic Specialists in St. Augustine, FL seeks a Radiologic Technician to join our fast-paced clinic. You will perform diagnostic radiographs, maintain patient EMRs, and ensure images are correctly uploaded to PACS, while prioritizing safety and patient comfort.

The ideal candidate has a BMO certification, BLS, state licensure, and at least 1 year in urgent care or a patient-care setting. Travel between locations may be required in some weeks.

Qualifications

  • BMO certification is required; BLS certification; state licensure.
  • 1+ year of experience in urgent care or patient care setting preferred.
  • EMR knowledge is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a professional, friendly manner and explain procedures clearly.
  • Produce high-quality radiographs to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain and update patient EMRs; provide copies of images upon request.
  • Ensure images are uploaded correctly into PACS.
  • Perform equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance; arrange repairs when needed.
  • Monitor radiation safety, protecting patients and staff at all times.
  • Maintain proper levels of radiology supplies and follow departmental safety protocols.
