Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.

You will provide patient services across all age groups, including neonates and geriatrics, and may perform advanced imaging such as fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures. ARRT and BCLS certification are required upon hire, and a two-year radiologic tech experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 2 years experience required.
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Provide patient services using imaging modalities.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures).
• Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
