Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Diagnostic OR Facilitator to oversee daily workflow between the Radiology diagnostic area and the OR in Louisville, KY. The role acts as liaison to ULH customers and supports department and hospital objectives by guiding staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating OR tasks, training new staff, ensuring proper C-Arm distribution, reporting equipment issues, and maintaining safe, compliant operations within HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a JRCERT approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• 2 years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT and KY Radiation Operator Certifications required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees OR workflow to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Assigns daily tasks to staff and ensures equitable distribution of work volume.
• Trains new staff in OR techniques and procedures.
• Coordinates with RN to ensure proper distribution of each C-Arm to the correct OR room.
• Reports remaining scheduled/add-on OR cases to Lead Tech or Supervisor for the following shift.
