Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic imaging procedures with emphasis on safety and accuracy. You will assist radiologists, protect patients from radiation exposure, and ensure proper infection control.

Two years of modality experience is preferred; ARRT registration or eligibility is required along with SC licensure and BLS. This role may require coverage at outreach sites in Mt. Pleasant, North Charleston, and West Ashley.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT registration or eligible within 12 months of hire.
• SC Radiation Quality Standards license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic examinations timely, accurately, and safely for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Provide patient assessments and care with professionalism and efficiency.
• Cover outreach sites as needed (Mt. Pleasant, North Charleston, West Ashley).
• Ensure equipment and rooms are prepared and stocked for procedures.
