Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health's Round Rock Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray procedures in a high-volume imaging department. The role requires excellent patient interaction and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Experience: Less than one year of experience required.
  • ARRT (R) – Radiography certification.
  • Texas Medical Board MRT license.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology (X-ray) procedures following physician orders.
  • Maintain imaging productivity with excellent image quality and patient safety.
  • Monitor radiation dose reference levels and adjust as needed.
  • Utilize AIDET communication practices to ensure positive patient experiences.
  • Prepare and position patients using proper immobilization devices and exposure techniques.
  • Follow radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and exam rooms to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Verify patient orders, history, pregnancy screening, and consent documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records in PACS and EMR systems.
  • Assist with inventory management and department workflow improvements.

Position: Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Schedule: Full-Time Mon-Fri 12:30p-9:00p

What You’ll Do
