Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Imaging Student Extern PRN at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center. You will gain hands-on experience learning from seasoned imaging professionals while supporting patient comfort and imaging workflows.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, transporting them, setting up imaging rooms, and collaborating with the care team. PRN availability and CPR/BLS within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited radiology program and set to graduate in no less than one year, or be considered a second year student.
• Availability to work on a PRN basis.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Safely transport patients between areas, supporting their comfort and emotional needs during procedures
• Set up imaging rooms, manage turnover, and organize supplies to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment
• Serve as a vital connection between patients, technologists, and the care team by communicating needs and concerns promptly
• Take ownership of your growth by participating in learning opportunities and following safety and confidentiality standards
