Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must obtain and maintain a DoW security clearance for the duration of employment.
• At least four (4) years of practical experience including laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.
• Experience in drafting, surveying construction estimating, physical science, mathematics, aerospace, architecture, chemicals, electrical or mechanical systems, mining, petroleum, or nuclear systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops or reviews designs by extracting and analyzing engineering data and applying conventional practices to schematics, drawings, and parts lists.
• Conducts tests or experiments with a variety of critical equipment; records data and analyzes results.
• Applies methods from others to limited segments of research and development; builds prototypes and tests, then redesigns as needed.
