Job summary

DCS Corporation in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician to perform non-routine, complex technical assignments in support of engineering, test, maintenance, and ordnance-handling activities.

You will apply established engineering principles, collect data, operate radiographic and testing equipment, and report results while working under supervision with engineers and others across the organization.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer requirements.
• An associate's degree with 5+ years of practical technical experience is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• ASNT Level I Radiography certification is required.
• Licenses: explosive hauler, explosive crane, forklift (up to 6,000 lbs).
• Experience with radiographic/testing instrumentation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop or review engineering designs by extracting, organizing, and analyzing data.
• Prepare or support development of detailed circuit diagrams and schematics.
• Set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain radiographic and testing equipment.
• Record test data and prepare test reports.
• Support redesigns based on test results and engineering direction.
• Move and handle ordnance safely using approved procedures.
• Perform general bay cleanup and maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians across the organization.
