South College invites applications for the Radiography Full Time Faculty position at the South College - Dallas campus. We seek a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and organization skills to join our Radiography program.

Under the direction of the Radiography Program Director, the faculty member handles classroom instruction, student evaluation/records, and supports the clinical education aspects of the program.

Qualifications

• Two years clinical experience in Radiography.
• Minimum of one year as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
• ARRT certified is required; MRI/CT credentials preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for Radiography courses, student evaluation, and maintain student records.
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator with growing and developing additional clinical sites for Radiography program.
• Assist the clinical coordinate clinical activities ensuring students can achieve competencies.
• Facilitate operational activities related to quality patient care and overall department function.
• Uphold high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator in maintaining strong relationships with clinical affiliates and the community at large.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director.

Under the direction of the Radiography Program Director, the Radiography faculty member has the responsibility and accountability for classroom instruction, student evaluation and record maintenance, and takes on responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director. Additionally, this individual will assist the Radiography Clinical Coordinator with the clinical education aspects of the program. Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified
• Preference will be given to applicants with MRI and/or CT credentials, but it is not required for the position
