Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in radiography.
• ARRT Radiography registration and IL license.
• Experience teaching or supervising students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee radiology student activities and training in the clinical setting.
• Prepare and maintain educational phases per JRCERT standards.
• Instruct students in applying radiography theory to hands-on practice.
• Demonstrate ALARA principles and safe patient handling.
• Model high-quality technical skills and teamwork.
• Provide student evaluations and maintain records as required.
• Participate in program outcome assessment and improvements.
• Enforce program policies in the clinical environment.
• Promote the profession via in-service presentations to staff and students.
• May provide didactic instruction in area(s) of expertise.
• Assess age-specific patient care needs per department standards.
