Job summary

Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff. You will apply advanced clinical and technical knowledge, maintain patient safety, and ensure regulatory compliance with Radiation Safety Officer guidance.

Requirements include: high school diploma, graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT Texas certification, CPR certification, and TMB eligibility

Summary

Functions in collaboration with physicians, physician assistants and/or nurse practitioners, and nursing staff in support of Our Promise. Accountable for performing quality diagnostic imaging examinations through the application of advanced clinical and technical knowledge. Accountable for maintaining strict attention to safe patient care in accordance with organization and department policy, procedures and protocols. Knowledgeable of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, maintaining departmental compliance in collaboration with Radiation Safety Officer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Texas Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
