Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Radiographer/NCT/CMA for a fast-paced Rockwall clinic. The role focuses on preparing patients, performing radiographic procedures, and upholding radiation safety standards. You will participate in quality control and patient assessment processes to ensure optimal imaging and safety.

The position requires NCT certification and CMA credentialing on hire, with a path toward a stable, 40-hour workweek in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• REQUIRED: Completion of an approved NCT Training Program.
• PREFERRED: Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• PREFERRED: Six months of NCT experience.
• REQUIRED: CMA certification upon hire.
• REQUIRED: NCT registration by Texas Medical Board.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect staff from radiation hazards.
• Take X-Rays following established patient safety procedures.
• Select proper ionizing factors for radiologic diagnosis.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure X-Ray unit meets standards.
• Obtain and record vital signs and presenting problems.
