Texas Health Plano is seeking a Radiographer (RAD Tech) for a full-time daytime schedule. You will explain procedures to patients, position them correctly, and perform complex radiologic exams while maintaining image quality and safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required at hire
• GMRT certification required at hire
• BCLS certification required before independent patient care
• CPI required within 90 days of employment
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program or Associate's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and guardians prior to exam
• Position patient for the correct anatomical area
• Perform complex radiologic procedures with age-related considerations
• Adjust technique parameters for age-related factors
• Assist radiologist with procedures using aseptic technique
• Ensure accurate image processing and PACS/HIS/RIS transfers
• Coordinate with scheduling and other modalities
