Job summary

Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby, OH is seeking a Radiographer to deliver safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging while keeping patients informed and comfortable. You will work with patients of all ages and collaborate closely with physicians and the care team.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification, and you’ll need to maintain licensure and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited 2-year radiologic technology program.
• ARRT-R certification and active licensure upon hire.
• Proficiency with x-ray equipment, PACS and RIS systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform a variety of radiographic procedures independently.

Responsibilities

• Produce radiographic procedures with high image quality and patient safety.
• Follow ALARA, Image Gently/Wisely and department policies.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Record all billing and documentation in RIS.
• Assist in student and staff training after 1 year of experience.
