The role includes radio infrastructure support, fleet mapping, code plug audits, inventory management, documentation, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for technical consultation and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience supporting, configuring, maintaining, and installing radio systems.
• Experience with EF Johnson Radio Coordinator.
• Experience developing and implementing radio hardware, software, and network standards.
• Experience performing fleet mapping and code plug maintenance/audits.
• Experience maintaining radio equipment inventories and coordinating equipment purchases.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer III to support, maintain, and enhance enterprise radio communication systems. This role is responsible for radio infrastructure support, fleet mapping, radio programming, equipment inventory management, network connectivity, documentation, compliance activities, and technical consultation.

• Knowledge of P25 digital trunking systems.
• Experience creating detailed system diagrams and technical documentation.

Additional Information

Hybrid work environment. Long‑term engagement with potential extension. Travel required for field support, installations, and site assessments. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the project state.
