Job summary

City of McAllen is seeking a technician to provide first level technical support and install radio and Public Safety electronics in City vehicles and facilities. You will document work, perform maintenance, and assist the team with project development and system upgrades.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to provide first level of technical support and installation of City radio and Public Safety electronic equipment in City owned vehicles and throughout all city facilities. Employee will complete all related work as required including installation, documentation and maintenance of equipment as well as assisting other team members with project development and upgrade or implementation of system level solutions.
