The University of North Texas System is seeking a Radio Operations Manager at our Denton campus to maintain sound quality, supervise student staff, and ensure alignment with program goals for KNTU. KNTU strives to serve the public interest with news, public affairs, and entertainment programming for the McKinney, Denton, Dallas-Fort Worth area; to provide news and information of community interest about the University of North Texas; and to provide an industry-standards environment in which students learn about radio broadcasting.
To maintain the basic sound of KNTU and ensure quality control of its implementation consistent with program plans and goals of the station. Also, to train, schedule and supervise designated student volunteers and designated paid student staff members.
Bachelor's degree in related field and five years of professional related experience, preferably as an Operations manager, program director, or promotions director; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Five years of experience working in broadcast media, preferably as an Operations manager, program director, or promotions director.
8:00am-5:00pm; 40 hrs/wk.
