Astranis is seeking a Radio Hardware Engineer to design, qualify, and test state-of-the-art software defined radios for our spacecraft payloads and TTC systems. You will work with RTL, Comms, and RF teams to build robust radio systems for high reliability, high performance operations.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience designing high-speed hardware and RF signal chains.
• Ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design and test ultra high speed digital data systems.
• Work with FPGAs and data converters.
• Design and lay out PCBs to implement these systems.
• Test and validate full radio signal chain.
• Integrate systems into the spacecraft with the team.
• Assist in recruiting and growing the team.
