**Overview**
Under Senior Design Staff, the Radio Frequency Engineer II performs work in the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of printed circuit card assemblies and top-level RF amplifier products. They collaborate across the organization to ensure successful product application.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform basic design functions of printed circuit board assemblies.
- Conduct tests and troubleshoot on printed circuit card assemblies and amplifier products.
- Create and maintain project milestone schedules.
- Generate plans and procedures for product qualification, design verification, and acceptance testing.
- Participate in the development of technical and teaming strategies on multiple projects.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline; six (6) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- General understanding of RF principles, including electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, and antenna design.
- Knowledge of components, schematic capture, and layout of RF and Analog circuitry.
- Software development, RF simulation, MATLAB, and CAD skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with system-level simulation tools to evaluate RF performance.
**Additional Information**
- Must be able to obtain U.S. export licenses due to ITAR/EAR controlled technology.
- Pay Range: $81,364 - $101,750 annually, based on factors like location, education, and experience.
