Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO seeks an RF Engineer to join our team onsite. You will support the Global Security portfolio by analyzing RF payloads, designing architectures, and conducting integration and testing to optimize performance and verify requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Security portfolio of programs by performing payload analysis on RF payloads across lifecycle stages.
• Perform system design and architecture to identify optimal payload solutions for new program captures.

• Contribute to deployment and initial performance assessment for critical government assets.

Standard Job Description

Architects and designs Radio Frequency systems and circuitry. Designs and develops RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. In addition, develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.

Security Clearance / Work Authorization

• To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen.
• Prior to starting employment, selected candidates will be required to possess Top Secret clearance. For this position, applicants must possess a currently Active Top Secret security clearance to be considered.
• Selected candidates will be required to obtain, and maintain, Top Secret with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI w/Poly) for long term employment on this program.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $91200.00 - $169400.00
