Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a senior engineer to lead end-to-end Ericsson and Nokia RAN integration across OSS/ENM, RAN, C-RAN, and vRAN for 3G to 5G deployments in the United States. You will own automation development in Python and Java, build reusable frameworks, and drive data-driven improvements in first-time-right delivery.

Job description

• Architect and lead end-to-end Ericsson and Nokia OEM RAN integration across OSS/ENM, RAN, C-RAN, and vRAN, spanning 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G deployments.
• Analyze Ericsson and Nokia RAN architecture, OSS/ENM configurations, RFDS, RNDCIQ, network topology, market parameters, and customer requirements to define integration designs and implementation strategies.
• Develop, validate, and maintain Python- and Java-based automation for network configuration, RAN integration, test execution, result analysis, and connected-factory workflows; measure tool success rates and first-time-right (FTR) performance.
• Build reusable Python automation frameworks for configuration generation, parameter validation, data reconciliation, pre/post checks, regression testing, log analysis, and deployment reporting across Ericsson RAN and OSS/ENM environments.
• Lead end-to-end site delivery from design review and readiness assessment through configuration, integration, audit, call testing, acceptance, and operational handover.
• Design and execute integration and regression test plans for RAN hardware, software, and feature releases; support GS/FGA alignment, NPI FOA/FFA trials, and automation script readiness for hardware/software general availability.
• Diagnose complex network, configuration, and automation failures by analyzing OSS/ENM data, alarms, logs, counters, and test evidence; perform root-cause analysis and deliver corrective actions to customers and engineering teams.
• Integrate and validate traditional RAN, Cloud RAN (C-RAN), and virtualized RAN (vRAN), including software installation, parameter configuration, feature activation, OSS/ENM connectivity, and end-to-end service verification.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solution scopes, deployment standards, risk assessments, and proposals; coordinate delivery across customer teams, CU CTO, PDU, and onshore/offshore engineering groups.
• Own RAN automation tools and product backlogs, including NMT, SRS, and R-EESI; lead Agile planning and use Python plus Power BI/Tableau analysis to improve automation reliability, FTR, delivery efficiency, and engineering practices.
