Zusammenfassung

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Radiation Therapy Technologist I to join the Oncology team. You will deliver precise treatments, operate linear accelerators, assist with CT simulations, and collaborate with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses and fellow therapists to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the treatment course.

Graduates of accredited programs who are ARRT registry eligible and SCRQSA-licensed (post-ARRT) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Registry eligible through ARRT in Radiation Therapy.
• SCRQSA licensure required upon ARRT certification.
• Current BLS certification desired or required.

Aufgaben

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely under supervision.
• Position and prepare patients for treatment with comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Operate linear accelerators and related radiation therapy equipment per protocols.
• Assist with CT simulation, clinical simulation, emergency simulation, and prep.
• Verify patient identity, treatment parameters, and documentation before each treatment.
• Monitor patients during treatment and communicate concerns to the clinical team.
