Job summary

Saint Luke’s North Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join the Radiation Oncology team. This full-time role involves delivering daily radiation treatments and simulations, with opportunities to contribute to new techniques and processes under supervision.

You will review prescriptions, schedule patients, maintain EMR accuracy, and participate in ongoing education and accreditation efforts within a collaborative department.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience in Radiation Therapy
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ARRT certification as Radiation Therapist
• Associate Degree in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily radiation therapy treatments and perform simulations under supervision.
• Assist in development of new techniques and processes for simulations and equipment.
• Review physician prescriptions, schedule treatments, and maintain patient EMR accurately.
• Participate in continuing education, QA programs, licensure and accreditation maintenance.

The radiation therapist may be required to assist in the development of new techniques and processes for simulations, treatment, new equipment and new devices. After reviewing treatment prescription of the physician and set up instructions, the therapist delivers daily radiation therapy treatments, schedules patients for treatment and maintains accurate patient EMR.
