Southern Illinois Medical Services NFP is seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide prescribed radiation therapy to patients under physician direction. The role requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Science and ARRT/IEMA/BLS certifications, with collaboration across oncologists, physicists, and support staff.

Responsibilities include patient setup, treatment delivery, EMR documentation, CT/Simulation assistance, and department support including stocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Science.
• Certifications: ARRT, IEMA, BLS.

Responsabilités

• Deliver a prescribed and planned course of treatment accurately and efficiently, including accurate procedure preparation, and patient set-up according to the EMR
• Interface appropriately with the Radiation Oncologist, physicist, and all other support staff at the initiation of treatment, and as needed throughout a course of treatment documenting in the EMR all clinically relevant information.
• Assist with CT/Simulations and dosimetry functions as needed.
• Assist as needed in all areas of the department. Secure and stock supplies.

Compensation

Compensation (Commensurate with experience): $35.82 To $55.52
