Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2 year Radiation Therapist Program.
• Official transcript or registrar's letter confirming program completion accepted on graduation.
• Primary source education verification required within 90 days of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Performs simulations for treatment under the Radiation Oncologist.
• Fabricates immobilization devices and shielding as necessary.
• Delivers therapeutic doses according to prescription.
• Takes port films and ensures quality control on equipment.
• Records treatment details and schedules patient appointments.
• Keeps daily log sheets and department records.
• Participates in clinical instruction of Radiation Therapy students.
