Job summary

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is seeking a Radiation Therapist to localize tumors under physician direction, participate in treatment planning, and deliver high-dose ionizing radiation according to prescriptions from Radiation Oncologists.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred), active CA Radiologic Technologist (Therapeutic) licensure, ARRT certification, and current BLS. On-site opportunity within a leading Orange County health system.

Qualifications

• Required Associate’s Degree.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Therapeutic) in California.
• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Localization of tumors under physician direction and delivery of high-dose radiation per prescription.
• Ensure protocols and best practices; evaluate patient daily for effects and responses.
• Operate Agility, VersaHD, or TomoHD equipment and verify treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation and participate in QA activities and continuous improvement.
