Job summary

Virtua Health in Moorestown, New Jersey, is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation treatments and perform CT simulations. You will fabricate positioning devices, perform daily QA, and document in EMR.

The role requires clear patient communication and collaboration with nurses and physicians. Responsibilities include chart review, time‑out procedures, patient scheduling, and maintaining treatment spaces.

Qualifications

• Certificate or degree from an Accredited Radiation Oncology Program.
• ARRT accreditation in Radiation Therapy.
• NJ State license in Radiation Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Perform CT simulations and create positioning/immobilization devices.
• Perform Daily QA on Linear Accelerator and CT Simulator.
• Troubleshoot equipment and notify physicist/manager.
• Document in EMR and medical records.
• Explain procedures to patients and address side effects.
• Review charts for prescription changes and setup parameters.
• Schedule patients in EMR.
• Maintain neat, orderly treatment and CT rooms.
• Perform basic dosimetry calculations.
