Our client is a leading radiation oncology provider with extensive Texas coverage, seeking a Radiation Therapist to administer treatments under supervision. The role emphasizes precise beam positioning and accurate dose delivery, with adherence to compliance standards.

Responsibilities include treatment documentation, collaboration with physicians, and participation in staff training. Must have ARRT certification and a valid state license to practice radiation therapy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Accurately position beams to match designated tumor volumes and deliver prescribed doses.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
• Assist in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
• Maintain appointment schedules and ensure correct billing information is submitted.
• Cut blocks and create custom molds as required.
