Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join a fast-paced hospital team in Springfield, MO. You will administer targeted treatments, collaborate with oncology professionals, and contribute to delivering compassionate patient care during cancer treatment.

Required credentials include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy, ARRT/AART certification, BLS, and at least two years of hospital experience with linac-based treatment and patient imaging.

Qualifications

• Requires credentialed Radiation Therapy training with AART/ARRT certification.
• State license if required, and BLS certification on file.
• Minimum two years of hospital-based radiation therapy experience.
• Linac treatment experience including patient setup and imaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.
• Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy.
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required
• 2 years’ experience as a radiation therapist
• BLS from AHA only
• ARRT and RRA certification
• 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience in a hospital
• Linac treatment experience, including setting up patients and imaging patients

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment

Assignment Details

Shift hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM / 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM depending on patient load)
