Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a fast-paced area hospital assignment in Cleveland. You will administer targeted treatments, position patients, verify plans with the oncology team and monitor for adverse reactions, delivering compassionate care to patients during every session.

Requirements include an accredited Radiation Therapy program (Associate or Bachelor’s), AART certification, state licensure if required, and at least two years of experience; travel-friendly

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.
• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required.
• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist.
• Graduate from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology approved by CAAHEA.
• Experience with radiation oncology EMR and record and verify.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.
• Verify treatment plans and dosage with oncology team.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy.
• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records.

Education

Job description

Join a fast‑paced team at an area hospital where your expertise as a Radiation Therapist will directly impact lives. From administering targeted treatments to collaborating with oncology professionals, you'll play a vital role in helping patients fight cancer with confidence and compassion-right when they need it most.

What You'll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required
• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist
• Graduate from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology that is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEA)
• Experience with radiation oncology specific electronic medical record as well as record and verify.

• 8-hour shifts.
• Scheduled hours may begin as early as 6:00 AM or as late as 12:00 PM.
• Weekend and holiday on-call rotations are required.
• May float to other facilities as needed.

Additional Duties:
