Job summary

Centerburg, Ohio is hosting a Radiation Therapist opening at a top hospital, with a competitive compensation package and a 15K sign-on bonus. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a one-week call rotation every two weeks and no weekends or holidays.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT (T) certification, an Ohio radiation therapist license, 3–5 years of experience in radiation therapy, and BLS certification. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Training Program.
• Current ARRT license specific to Radiation Therapy - ARRT (T).
• Maintain a valid Radiation Therapist license from the Ohio Department of Health.
• 3-5 years of radiation therapy experience with training in simulation and planning; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiation therapy procedures and administrative duties as assigned.
• Reviews, writes, and updates radiation policy and procedures.
• Educates staff on policy, procedures, and ODH requirements.
• Monitors and ensures all equipment quality checks and safe operation.
• Chairs and documents radiation therapy Quality Assurance and Improvement meetings.
• Assists with QA/QI plans and with meeting CoC standards.
• Coordinates patient care based on patient needs.
• Assists in staff training, orientation, and evaluations.
