Job summary

START Center for Cancer Care in Texas is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join outpatient services. You will administer prescribed radiation doses, position patients, operate treatment machines, and ensure safety and accuracy under the supervision of an oncologist.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• ARRT certification or equivalent credential.
• State licensure (if required by the state).
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients using specialized equipment.

• Monitor patients during treatments and report adverse reactions or concerns to the medical team.

Job Description:

The START Center for Cancer Care has a premier Radiation Department. We have three Varian Linear Accelerators, with a new Truebeam being installed this summer. Aria Record and Verify Systems at our two current locations. The START Center offers benefits on the first day of employment and a 5% contribution to your 401(k) at the end of each year. Our PTO system rolls over annually and continues to accrue up to 2x your annual allotment, plus you can sell up to 40 hours a year. Company paid benefits include life insurance, short term disability and long term disability, again, all on the first day of employment. The sign on bonus and wages have been adjusted recently and we welcome your application and discussion. Positions start at $85,000 - $120,000+. depending on experience, in addition we have discretionary company bonuses and department bonus structure and a 5% annual contribution to a 401(k) plan. Work Environment & Conditions:

• Outpatient Radiation Services administered weekdays only.
• Requires standing for extended periods and assisting patients with mobility needs.
• Regular exposure to radiation, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols.
