Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada (CCCN) has an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join our Las Vegas area team. This full-time role supports physicians and delivers precise radiation treatments to patients in a state-of-the-art cancer program.

Under direct supervision, you will help ensure accurate beam positioning, maintain treatment records, and participate in education of new therapists and students.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• 0-3 years’ experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• ARRT certification required.
• Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under supervision of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Enters and maintains patient treatment parameters into the electronic medical record; participates in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
• Maintains patient appointment schedule and submits correct billing information.
• Cuts blocks, when applicable.
• Makes custom molds.
• Completes simple mu calculations.
• Interprets a computerized treatment plan.
• Maintains clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada has an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to work full-time within the Las Vegas, Nevada area. In this role, you will work with some of the best physicians in their fields while providing care to patients in a successful health care organization.

Scope

Under direct supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• Position is entry level and requires 0-3 years’ experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• ARRT certification required.
• Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
