Aldevra, LLC seeks an experienced Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist (RTT) to provide services at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. The RTT will ensure adherence to policies, safety, and quality management in radiotherapy planning, delivery, and QA in collaboration with physicists and oncologists.

• One (1) year of experience in radiation oncology treatment machines and delivery.
• Experience generating radiation dose distribution and collaborating with clinicians.
• Excellent verbal communication and telephone manner.

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and MS Office.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail; team oriented.

Position Summary

Aldevra, LLC is seeking an experienced Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist (RTT) to provide services at the Washington D C. VA Medical Center. Services must adhere to all the policies and procedures; practice standards, guidelines, patient care operations; patient safety; quality assurance and quality management of radiotherapy planning, equipment, and delivery; and continuous quality improvement initiatives promulgated by the American College of Radiology, American Society for Radiation Oncology and American Association for Physicist in Medicine. Qualifications:

One (1) year of experience - Knowledge of overall characteristics and clinical relevance of radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment.One (1) year of experience - Delivery of prescribed therapeutic radiation for the purposes of cancer and abnormal cell growth treatments.One (1) year of experience – in 3-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT), Intensity-Modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), Image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT).One (1) year of experience - Education and expertise necessary to generate radiation dose distribution and dose calculations in collaboration with the medial physicist and radiation oncologist.Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone mannerExcellent and accurate written communicationFamiliarity with Windows operating systems; online calendars and cloud systems; intermediate to advanced skills Microsoft office products required.Excellent attention to detail; accurate data entry.Customer Focused and team-oriented work ethic.Able to multi-task efficiently and accurately, focusing on quality.Veterans and Military Spouses are encouraged to apply.
