Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM seeks a day shift, full-time Satellite Oncology Radiation Therapist (RT) to join our cancer care team. You will deliver ionizing radiation Therapy per oncologist prescription, perform quality control, and ensure patient safety in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have CAHEA radiologic training, NM licensure, and BLS; experience preferred. This role offers sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• CAHEA radiologic program or equivalent completed.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation safety.
• NM Radiation Therapy license current.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ionizing radiation in accordance with radiation oncologist prescriptions.
• Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and quality control procedures.

• Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services using ionizing radiation to administer treatment of cancer in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Performs therapeutic, diagnostic, and quality control procedures.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

• Graduate of the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) radiologic program or equivalent.
• Knowledge of a variety of software applicant programs; Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Radiation Safety procedures.
• One (1) year of related experience.
• NM Radiation Therapy Licensed.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
