Job summary

Providence is seeking a Radiology Therapist to perform advanced radiotherapy treatments using wedged filtration, arc rotations, and tangential/extended field irradiation per department standards. You will operate within the Providence Medical Foundation’s patient-focused care culture in Santa Rosa, CA.

Requirements include formal radiologic technology training, ARRT certification upon hire, and California certifications (Diagnostic/Therapeutic) upon hire.

Qualifications

• Formal therapeutic radiologic technology training completed at an approved school.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
• California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments utilizing modern radiotherapy techniques (wedged filtration, arc rotations, tangential and extended field irradiation) according to department standards.

Under the direction of the department manager and supervision of the lead therapist, performs treatments utilizing all modern radiotherapy techniques, wedged filtration, arc rotations, tangential irradiation and extended field irradiation according to the department standards.
