3110 Kennestone Hospital, Inc. is seeking a PRN Staff Radiation Therapist for the Radiation Oncology Department. The role focuses on applying ionizing radiation per prescription, operating radiation equipment with safety measures, and performing complex procedures.
The candidate will participate in quality control, deliver precise therapy, assess patients across age groups, document in EMR, and support staff with additional tasks as needed. On-call and student instruction duties are included.
Work Shift Day (United States of America) The PRN Staff Radiation Therapist in the Radiation Oncology Department applies ionizing radiation to a diverse population of patients in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. They must be capable of operating radiation-producing equipment utilizing radiation safety measures and be able to perform a series of complex and precise technical procedures.
Associate's Degree Required. Must be a graduate from an accredited Radiation therapy program.
ARRT-T - ARRT Radiation Therapy BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
Minimum 1 year experience in Radiation Therapy.
Demonstrates ability to treat/simulate patients.
