The role requires graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program, CA licensure in Therapeutic Radiology, ARRT certification, and strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy school.
• Licensure by the state of California in Therapeutic Radiology and ARRT certification.
• Ability to act independently and exercise appropriate independent judgment regarding setup or treatment decisions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of people.
• Positive attitude toward teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up patient for treatment and ensure proper positioning.
• Execute prescribed radiotherapy or hyperthermia treatments.
• Document treatment performed and communicate outcomes to the team.
• Collaborate with department staff to maximize efficiency of services.
