Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR is seeking a part-time Radiation Therapist to perform simulations and deliver therapeutic ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. You will assist the physician and staff to ensure optimum patient care in a supportive team environment.

Required qualifications include graduation from an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program, Oregon Radiation Therapist License, and ARRT certification. Preferred experience is 1 year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• Oregon Radiation Therapist License upon hire.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Radiation Therapist performs simulations and delivers therapeutic ionizing radiation to the patient as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Assists the physician and fellow employees to provide optimum care and treatment to the patients.
