Job summary

Endeavor Health's Radiation Oncology department in Arlington Heights (Northwest Community Hospital) seeks a Radiation Therapist to join a collaborative team. You will simulate treatment setups, perform dosimetric calculations, and deliver prescribed ionizing radiation, with a focus on patient care and safety.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program, ARRT candidate, CPR, IEMA licensure, and experience with Varian equipment and ARIA EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• ARRT (R) certification candidate; must complete and be registered within one year of start date.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Illinois IEMA licensure.
• Experience with Varian equipment and ARIA EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Simulates treatment set-ups and performs dosimetric calculations.
• Accurately delivers ionizing radiation as prescribed, under supervision.
• Assist in patient care and management.
• Adhere to clinical, technical and operational policies.
