Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a contract assignment in the New York area. This role provides FMLA coverage from August 24 through November 15 and follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 08:00 am – 04:30 pm, with no on-call duties.

The qualified candidate will operate Varian True Beam, Aria, and AlignRT systems, treat ~20 patients daily, and work with a collaborative team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist.
• Expertise in Varian True Beam, Aria, and AlignRT systems.
• Treated approximately 20 patients daily in a busy clinical setting.
• Positive, energetic attitude with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Administer precise radiation treatments according to physician orders and treatment plans.
• Position patients and operate equipment with safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient conditions, report adverse reactions, and document thoroughly.
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and care team for seamless patient care.
• Assist with equipment checks and uphold quality assurance standards.

A healthcare facility is seeking an energetic, adaptable professional to join their Radiation Therapy department for a contract assignment. This role involves providing FMLA coverage from August 24th through November 15th, working with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality treatments and support for oncology patients.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00 am – 04:30 pm
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Current certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist
• Expertise in Varian True Beam, Aria, and AlignRT systems
• Prior experience treating approximately 20 patients daily in a busy clinical setting
• Ability to wear any color scrubs
• Positive, energetic attitude with strong communication skills and team orientation

• Accurately position patients and operate radiation equipment with a focus on safety and comfort
• Monitor patient conditions, report adverse reactions, and maintain thorough documentation
